Drugmakers Must Police Each Other Over TV Ad Price Disclosures

The Trump administration is relying on the pharmaceutical industry to police itself in revealing the prices of its drugs on TV.

A final rule requiring drug companies to include the list price of medications in its television ads has attorneys questioning how effective it will be if it’s not going to be enforced by the government. Instead, the rule says pharma companies can sue each other.
