DOJ Seeks to Delay Decision on Trump-Era Health Plan Rule

The Justice Department on Thursday asked the D.C. Circuit to hold off on issuing a decision on the legality of a Trump administration rule that aimed to expand small business access to health insurance.

The Trump administration appealed a lower court ruling that tossed out much of the Labor Department’s 2018 rule that allowed small businesses, including people who are self-employed and have no employees, to band together in associations to offer health insurance as a large employer group.
