California Chiropractor Can Practice Despite Criminal Action

A California trial court violated a chiropractor’s due process rights when it restricted him from practicing while a criminal case was pending against him because no evidence showed he posed a danger to the public, a California appeals court said.

The trial court must vacate an order prohibiting Steven Davis from using his chiropractic license while released on his own recognizance and as a future condition of probation, the California Court of Appeal, Third District, said in an unpublished ruling.
