A lawsuit challenging the Trump administration’s rollback of a rule clarifying that Obamacare’s anti-bias provision protects LGBTQ people from discrimination in health-care programs will proceed for now, a federal judge in Massachusetts said.
Judge Patti B. Saris, of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, denied the U.S. Health and Human Services Department’s request for an open-ended stay of the case “for reasons stated on the record” during a remote hearing Monday, according to entries on the court’s docket.
