Biden’s HHS Staffs Long-Awaited Drug Discount Dispute Board

The Biden administration has appointed panelists for a long-awaited forum to hear disputes within a government program for providing steep drug discounts to health centers treating low-income patients.

Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra signed a memorandum appointing members to the 340B Administrative Dispute Resolution Board, the government and a group of health centers said in a Friday filing in a lawsuit over the discount forum.

The names of the members haven’t been made public.

The announcement means that panelists are in place to oversee previously stalled discount fights against drugmakers like AstraZeneca, which last year began limiting discounts ...
