The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s chief, working to develop new climate reporting disclosures, has his work cut out for him, according to Chevron Corp.’s Chief Executive Officer.
“It’s tricky,” Chevron Corp. CEO Mike Wirth said in an interview at Bloomberg’s New York City headquarters on Wednesday when asked about SEC Chairman Gary Gensler. “We’re working through a variety of groups working on ESG metrics to try and create some standards because they’re all over the map.”
