White House Stonewalling Glider Truck Probe, EPA Watchdog Says

The White House isn’t cooperating with a probe into how the Trump administration handled a hotly debated proposal to ease air pollution limits for trucks with rebuilt engines, the EPA’s internal watchdog said.

The Office of Management and Budget has stonewalled repeated requests for information over several months from the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Inspector General, Charles Sheehan, the acting inspector general, wrote in an April 25 letter to Mick Mulvaney, the budget office director.
