Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Andrew Wheeler expressed frustration at the news media’s treatment of his agency’s work in Oct. 18 remarks at a forum convened by Case Western Reserve University’s School of Law.
“Whatever I do, the environmental groups are going to criticize, no matter how good it is for the environment,” Wheeler said. “It’s a national game for them.”
The comments echo remarks Wheeler gave Oct. 16 in announcing reductions in chemical exposures to children, during which he said he was frustrated that the media “don’t tell this side of the story.”
