U.S. Revokes Permit For Caribbean Refinery Under Emissions Watch

The Environmental Protection Agency withdrew a critical permit for the Limetree Bay refinery in the U.S. Virgin Islands, which may make it tougher to operate after it received a new lease on life under the Trump administration.

The agency removed a type of Clean Air Act permit that allows some flexibility for how plants manage air pollution emissions.
