U.S. Clean Energy Jobs Rebound But Still Well Short of 2020 High

Wind, solar, and other clean energy jobs rebounded in late 2020 from devastating losses stemming from Covid-19, but the sector has roughly 300,000 fewer jobs than it did before the pandemic, according to a Monday report.

A total of 3 million people worked in clean energy jobs at the end of last year, compared to 3.36 million at the end of 2019, according to the report from E2, which represents companies, investors, and others in the clean energy industry.
