U.S. Air Pollution Monitoring to Get $50 Million Boost From EPA

The Environmental Protection Agency will spend an additional $50 million to remedy air quality monitor disparities across the U.S., the agency announced Wednesday.

The monitoring funds tack onto another commitment for $50 million for environmental justice projects in the American Rescue Plan to “address health outcome disparities from pollution and the COVID–19 pandemic,” according to an EPA press release.
