President-elect Donald Trump named two former George W. Bush administration Interior Department officials—Daniel Jorjani and Scott Cameron—to the agency’s transition team.
Cameron, president of the Reduce Risks from Invasive Species Coalition, was deputy assistant interior secretary for performance, accountability and human resources from 2001 to 2006.
His career in Washington includes stints at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and White House Office of Management and as Washington representative for former Republican California Gov. Pete Wilson in the 1990s.
