Tribes Oppose Dakota Access Pipeline Bid to Delay Court Mandate

Native American tribes want federal judges to reject Dakota Access pipeline lawyers’ bid to delay closing an appeal they lost while the company pursues a U.S. Supreme Court petition.

“Even brief scrutiny reveals that good cause for a stay does not exist,” the Standing Rock Sioux and other tribes said Monday in a brief to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
