Tetra Tech Sues EPA for Ordering Shipyard Cleanup Do-Over (1)

Environmental engineering and contracting firm Tetra Tech asked a federal court Tuesday to throw out the EPA and Navy’s plan to redo more than a decade of cleanup at part of a former San Francisco shipyard contaminated with radioactive material.

The Environmental Protection Agency viewed Tetra Tech EC Inc.'s data from the site “through a biased, unscientific lens and demanded an approach that guarantees a complete do-over,” according to the company’s complaint, filed in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
