TC Energy to Remove Keystone XL Pipeline at Canada Border

TC Energy Corp. will soon remove part of the Keystone XL pipeline at the Canada border and relinquish its right-of-way, the company told a Montana federal court.

Work to remove the 1.2-mile segment of the pipeline will start Sept. 22, TC Energy and TransCanada Keystone Pipeline LP told the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana. TC Energy will relinquish the last part of its right-of-way over land at the border when the work is complete in November, according to the company’s Sept. 17 filing.
