TC Energy Loses New Bid to Shut Down Keystone XL Suit in Montana

A lawsuit challenging the Trump administration’s decision to grant a permit for the Keystone XL oil pipeline will advance despite the project’s cancellation, a Montana federal court again ruled in another loss for TC Energy Corp.

Indigenous Environmental Network and North Coast Rivers Alliance argue former President Donald Trump violated the U.S. Constitution when he issued a presidential permit in 2019 to build a cross-border segment of the pipeline.
