A Senate panel on Wednesday approved three of President Joe Biden’s nominees to top posts at the EPA and deadlocked on a fourth, moving a step closer to rounding out the ranks of the agency’s political leadership.
Among the nominees cleared by the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee are David Uhlmann, the administration’s pick to lead the Environmental Protection Agency’s enforcement section. He was approved on a 10-9 vote.
