Rhode Island to Cut Carbon Emissions From Heating Systems

Rhode Island will devise a plan to cut carbon emissions from heat sources, Gov. Gina Raimondo (D) said July 10.

Doing so is the only way the state will meet its 2050 goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the state to 80% below 1990 levels, as a way to slow global warming and meet the tenets of the U.S. Climate Alliance, she said.
