Rhode Island Still Committed to Regional Energy Approach, State Official Says

The state of Rhode Island remains committed to the idea of a regional approach to bringing more energy into New England despite the failure of Massachusetts lawmakers to approve key energy legislation before adjourning in late July.

The six New England states signed an agreement in December 2013 to work together to expand availability of clean, affordable and reliable energy in the region 236 DER A-31, 12/9/13, 04 IIPR 18, 12/9/13, 236 DEN A-10, 12/9/13, 235 ECR, 12/6/13, 44 ER 3697, 12/13/13.
