Review of Nevada Lithium Mine Permit Ordered by Federal Judge

A federal judge in Nevada has ordered the Bureau of Land Management to reconsider part of its permit for a Nevada lithium mine project, but declined to vacate the permit entirely.

Land bureau officials should review a 1,300-acre section of the proposed project site where waste rock would be buried, wrote Miranda Du, chief judge of the US District Court of Nevada in Reno, in an order posted late Monday.
