The EPA must pull about 600 harmful PFAS off the market after companies have declined to withdraw them voluntarily, environmental groups told the agency in a petition.
A coalition of 16 groups represented by Earthjustice submitted the petition on Thursday asking the Environmental Protection Agency to revoke its previous approval that allowed about 600 per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) onto the US market.
