Ex-EPA Chief Pruitt’s Superfund Task Force Quietly Ends (1)

At the end of its two-year run, the EPA’s Superfund task force is going out like a lamb.

The Environmental Protection Agency marked the end of the task force July 31 with a document celebrating 20 years of efforts to redevelop contaminated sites, but provided little information on the task force’s progress. Attorneys representing clients at Superfund sites said they are waiting to see how the agency will turn the task force’s ideas and recommendations into action.
