Efficiency and transformation will be the mantra EPA staff hear as they gather with the political leadership for a two-day conference on the agency’s future.
“I want EPA to be known and respected as the most capable and highest-achieving agency in the federal government,” Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt wrote in a Jan. 22 email to staff previewing the Jan. 29-30 National Executive Leadership Development Conference. “To achieve that goal, we need to streamline our processes and become more efficient.”
