Pipeline Urges Court to Pause FERC Proceeding After SEC Ruling

Rover Pipeline LLC and Energy Transfer LP urged a federal judge in Texas to block FERC’s effort to impose a $20 million fine for removing a historic farmhouse, saying the Fifth Circuit’s recent ruling against the SEC’s use of in-house judges bolsters their case.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s proceeding violates their constitutional rights, the companies told the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
