A bill to address contamination from PFAS chemicals is coming to the House floor this week as the White House has warned it will recommend that President Trump veto the measure.
- The administration said it “strongly opposes” the House bill, H.R. 535, which would set up new requirements and deadlines for the EPA to regulate PFAS. “The regulatory process works best when EPA and other agencies are free to devise regulations based on the best available science and careful consideration of all the relevant facts,” the White House said.
