‘Hatred of Fossil Fuels’ Stops Federal Projects: Okla. Governor (1)

“A hatred of fossil fuels” is driving a handful of coastal states to block federal projects to export coal or transport natural gas that have nothing to do with protecting water quality, Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) said at a Nov. 19 Senate hearing.

Stitt was testifying in favor of the Water Quality Certification Improvement Act of 2019 (S. 1087). Sen.
