Bay States, Nonprofit Sue EPA Over Cleanup of Chesapeake Bay (2)

A coalition led by the nonprofit Chesapeake Bay Foundation sued the EPA Thursday in a federal district court for failing to force Pennsylvania and New York to comply with the legally binding cleanup plan for the Chesapeake Bay.

Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia filed a separate lawsuit on Thursday, accusing the Environmental Protection Agency of failing to meet its “non-discretionary duty.”
