No Answers Yet to Justify Reducing Utah Monuments: Grijalva (1)

The chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee said he is awaiting answers from the Trump administration on its decision to reduce the size of two national monuments in Utah.

Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.), chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee, said March 13 he made several requests to the Interior Department for documents on the reasoning behind President Donald Trump’s 2017 downsizing of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante.
