Mississippi River Project Increases Risk of Flooding, Suit Says

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is continuing with a project to maintain a navigation channel in the Mississippi River without proper environmental review in violation of multiple federal laws, environmental groups say in a lawsuit filed in an Illinois federal court Wednesday.
