Manufacturer Leaves West Virginia PFAS Water Contamination Case

A precision metal parts manufacturer dropped out of a municipal water contamination case in an agreement with a West Virginia water board in federal district court.

The agreement between the Weirton Area Water Board and Neo Industries Inc. was finalized in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia on Tuesday. The manufacturer agreed to withdraw its opposition to transferring the case to multidistrict litigation in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, and be dismissed from the case without prejudice.
