Judge Thomas B. Griffith’s planned retirement from the D.C. Circuit will make way for a Trump appointee likely to be less favorable toward environmental interests.
Griffith joined the court in 2005 and developed a reputation as a moderate on environmental and administrative law issues. The U.S. Administrative Office of the Courts disclosed his plans in an online listing of judicial vacancies.
