An industry watchdog has filed a complaint to U.S. and Canadian securities regulators alleging that Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd. misled investors about its controversial Pebble mining project in Alaska.
The requests for a compliance investigation—announced April 30—were sent April 26 to both the Securities and Exchange Commission and the British Columbia Securities Commission by the Toronto-based Justice and Corporate Accountability Project on behalf of environmental group Earthworks.
