Democrats Ready to Go All Out to Halt EPA’s Mercury Proposal (2)

One of the top Democratic overseers of the EPA said she’s not ruling out any options to stop the EPA from moving ahead with plans that could weaken the first-ever limits on power plant emissions of mercury and other toxic air pollutants.

These options include introducing stand-alone legislation or add-on riders to stop the EPA from moving forward with its 2018 proposal that sought to undermine the legal basis for the mercury standards for power plants set in 2012.
