Hydro Power Agency Shielded From Centerra’s Contract Protest

Centerra Integrated Facilities Services LLC didn’t timely protest the Bonneville Power Administration’s selection of Jones Lang LaSalle Americas Inc. to perform a $54 million integrated facilities management services contract, the GAO said.

A debriefing exception to the ten-day protest filing period, which tolls a deadline until the conclusion of a debriefing, didn’t apply to Centerra’s protest filing because the BPA statute exempts the agency from federal procurement laws, the Government Accountability Office said in a decision released May 1.
