House Democrats to Try Again on Climate Change

The Democratic-run House continues seeking to address climate change today despite resistance from the GOP-run Senate, Dean Scott writes.

  • The House Appropriations panel that funds the State Department and foreign operations is marking up a spending bill for fiscal 2020 that would resurrect U.S. backing of a United Nations fund that helps developing nations cut their greenhouse gas emissions and address climate impacts.
