HILL ENERGY BRIEFING: Senate Panel to Review US Coastline Bills

Coastal resiliency legislation is on the agenda for today’s Senate Environment and Public Works hearing. The panel will hear from witnesses on four bills that seek to bolster, reauthorize, and update Fish and Wildlife programs in coastal areas.

The “Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Restoration Reauthorization Act” (S. 3069) is a bipartisan bill that reauthorizes a conservation program in the Great Lakes region through 2027. It’s an important priority for many lawmakers on both sides of the aisle.
