The federal government’s landlord kicked off a new working group on Thursday that will start piloting the General Services Administration toward buying lower-carbon materials.
GSA Administrator Robin Carnahan said at the meeting that the $369 billion in federal spending delivered through the recent climate and tax bill provides “an unprecedented moment for GSA and this committee to figure out how to influence how those dollars are spent across the government.”
