Groups Oppose FERC Motion to Maintain Its Pipeline Review Policy

Developers and environmental groups urged a federal appeals court Wednesday to issue without further delay a mandate that would put an end to FERC’s policy of hindering legal challenges to pipeline projects.

They told the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to deny the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s July 6 request for 90 additional days to figure how best to address the court’s ruling last month. The ruling struck down the commission’s long-standing pipeline review policy.
