Former Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack called on agricultural operations to completely neutralize heat-trapping gases from farming and ranching.

“I think the time has come for the dairy industry specifically, and agriculture generally, to look at creative ways to get to a net-zero emission operation,” said Vilsack, who served as Agriculture secretary for eight years during the Obama administration. “That’s a tall order.”
