Feds Fire Back at Environmental Challenge to Immigration Policy

An immigration group and several individuals fail to identify any specific actions in their lawsuit seeking to force the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to do an environmental review of its immigration policies, the government told a Washington, D.C., federal court.

The plaintiffs want to “vindicate a generalized grievance with immigration policy” that should instead be addressed legislatively, according to the motion to dismiss filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
