EPA Has 90 Days on Pesticide Rule Action, Appeals Court Says (1)

A federal appeals court has ordered the Environmental Protection Agency to come to a decision about whether to ban the use of chlorpyrifos on food.

The order by the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on April 19 gives the EPA 90 days to decide whether to ban the organophosphate pesticide, which has been linked to neurological damage in children.
