A federal court in Massachusetts has agreed to freeze a landmark climate adaptation lawsuit involving an Exxon Mobil Corp. terminal near Boston.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts on Saturday said it would pause proceedings in the Conservation Law Foundation’s case until the Environmental Protection Agency takes action on a related permit.
