Exelon Subsidies at Risk as Illinois Energy Talks Hit ‘Impasse’

Proposed Illinois state subsidies worth nearly $700 million for two nuclear energy plants operated by Exelon Corp. are in jeopardy after negotiators informed Gov. J.B. Pritzker on Monday they can’t agree on decarbonization principles for a new, comprehensive state energy plan.
