The US Patent and Trademark Office’s decision that a LegalForce trademark attorney violated the agency’s rules of professional conduct was upheld by a Virgina federal judge who denied the attorneys’ attempt to fight the decision.
Judge Claude M. Hilton ruled that the patent office was correct in determining that attorney Elizabeth Pasquine “failed to act diligently and promptly in representing her clients” before the agency, according to his decision issued Thursday in US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria.
