EPA’s Glyphosate Approval Draws Two New Suits (2)

Environmental groups, farmworkers, and farmers are taking the EPA to court in a pair of new suits over its latest approval of the herbicide glyphosate.

The Natural Resources Defense Council and the Pesticide Action Network North America filed suit Friday in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, taking aim at the Environmental Protection Agency’s January determination that “there are no risks of concern to human health when glyphosate is used according to the label and that it is not a carcinogen.”
