EPA Watchdog Rebuts General Counsel on Top Official’s Audit Help

The EPA’s internal watchdog reiterated Nov. 7 that Ryan Jackson, the agency’s chief of staff, is failing to fully cooperate with an audit and investigation “to this day.”

The letter from Charles J. Sheehan, acting inspector general of the Environmental Protection Agency, shows that his office wasn’t satisfied by a five-page memo sent on Nov. 5 by EPA General Counsel Matthew Leopold.
