EPA Sends More Air Monitoring Equipment After Texas Deep Freeze

The EPA is sending additional air monitoring equipment to Texas in the wake of the massive freeze that shut down the state’s electric grid.

A chemical and emissions detecting plane loaded with senors will be deployed to Southeast Texas along with staff and additional equipment to assist in recovery efforts after Winter Storms Uri and Viola, according to an according to an Environmental Protection Agency news release over the weekend.
