EPA Seeks Ecologist to Replace Retiring Clean Air Adviser (2)

Wanted: an ecologist with expertise in ozone and fine airborne particles to help the EPA review its federal air quality standards for the pollutants by the end of 2020.

The Environmental Protection Agency’s Feb. 28 notice seeking candidates for its Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee comes as Timothy Lewis, the only ecologist on the panel, announced his departure.

“One of the members is retiring from federal service and has requested to resign from the committee,” Molly Block, an agency spokeswoman, told Bloomberg Environment Feb. 28.
