EPA Issues Violation Notice to Limetree Bay Refinery in USVI (1)

Environmental Protection Agency has issued a notice of violation to Limetree Bay Terminals for alleged breaches of the Clean Air Act for failing to operate five sulfur dioxide monitors in areas of Christiansted on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, EPA says in emailed statement.

  • Co. failed to operate two SO2 monitors to the west of refinery and three to the north of the refinery; failed to operate a meteorological tower
