EPA Inspector General Pick Draws Bipartisan Support at Hearing

Republicans and Democrats on the Senate environment panel praised President Donald Trump’s pick for EPA inspector general during a confirmation hearing Oct. 30.

Sean O’Donnell, a career official for nearly two decades, served most recently as a trial attorney in the Justice Department’s criminal division.

The hearing on his nomination to head the watchdog office that monitors the EPA will be followed by a vote on his confirmation by the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
